The Nature Conservation Trust (NCT) team includes ecological experts who understand NSW’s threatened ecosystems and how best to protect them.
The NCT’s experienced staff members are skilled at:
- assessing the ecological values of our diverse landscapes;
- managing ecological landscapes in a practical way;
- advising on the best form of legal protection for landscapes under threat; and
- dealing in rural real estate.
Team approach to biodiversity protection
Private land owners interested in developing a conservation agreement with the NCT to protect their special part of the state of NSW can rely on a number of experts for help.
Our staff includes ecologists, botanists, biologists and people with legal expertise. They routinely conduct ecological surveys to record plant and animal species, can identify threats to those species, and make recommendations for improved land management practices.
Because the NCT is so active in the rural real estate market, we also have a good commercial understanding of property values and rural trends across the state of NSW.
Conservation is truly a team effort when land owners engage with the NCT’s scientific, commercial and legal experts.
