The Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority have provided the Nature Conservation Trust with funding for several Trust Agreement programs over the years, focussing on the protection of a range of high conservation value eco-systems in the Northern Rivers catchment.
More recently we have received funding from the Catchment Management Authority, through the Caring for our Country initiative, to undertake a Trust Agreement program in the lower Clarence and Richmond valleys to protect wetland properties.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from landowners interested in applying to this program to protect all or part of their wetland property.
Funding of up to $15,000 is available to successful applicants to help manage and restore the conservation values of their wetlands.
