In December 2006 the Nature Conservation Trust received funding to operate a Revolving Fund Program for the Lachlan Catchment Management Authority for the protection of high conservation value properties in the Lachlan catchment.
This funding supported the acquisition of Fernhill with additional funding being provided for improved infrastructure and habitat regeneration.
