Nominations for Board Members closes 22 July!

Nominations are invited for appointment to the Board of the Nature Conservation Trust of NSW.

We seek a number of Board Members who have one or more of the following abilities:

  • To provide effective leadership and direction to the Board,
  • To ensure sound and effective decision making and leading to the attainment of identified conservation goals,
  • To attract and maintain financial support of the Trust,
  • To ensure effective financial management of the Trust,
  • To encourage landholders to enter into Trust agreements and to take innovative approaches to conservation on private land,
  • To increase public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the importance of conservation of natural and cultural heritage and its appropriate management by landholders and other community members,
  • To manage private land, including agricultural land,
  • To provide advice to the Board on matters of local land use planning, local land use management and the operations of local councils.
Applicants with abilities in leadership, expertise in the regional property market, and/or fundraising will be highly regarded.

Applications must address one or more of the key criteria, and contain a brief CV and written consent to the nomination.
